Mom has Larengitus (sp) so she can not speak to good today. Need to call Stacia to have here check in on Sara's email message. She misses hearing from her.
Went to the grocery store to pick up some food for the week. weight watcher meals .... lets see it that helps with the fat.

Love hearing from Sara looks like she found out that Germans love to walk. I remember all the walking we did while we lived there and Tom and Tanta Hedi walking out every Sunday it seems like it just happened but it was so long ago. Where does the time fly to.
The weather looks like another nice day coming up and I hope so I can talk alittle better today so maybe my cold is breaking up at least I hope so my voice was terrible yesterday.
I was looking out my bedroom window as I write this and can see the lilac so that tells you how big the bush is it comes up over the top of the patio roof. I think we are about to get some rodaden oh I do not know how to spell this flower what the heck you can figure it out I hope.
Shasta is taking Skyler to to forest for his morning walk and swim.He sure loves that. I would love a morning swim myself I need a cottage3 at the lake or a beach I just will have to win the Lotto I guess.
the people across the street have such a beautiful lawn why is it that the grass is always greener on someone else's lawn.
I miss Sharon and Stacia as they are so far away I guess i must be getting old or maybe just feeling that life is passing me by well enough of that feeling sorry for myself I think I will get dressed today a take the bottles back to the store if I don't soon the porch will get filled with ants. Today is dump day to maybe I can try for that also I have to do something to get this body moving. I woke up to cramped fingers on my other hand and though oh no not artritist in that hand too. This is to damn much there has to be a way out of this pain.I am sick of pills all I do is sleep and watch TV when I wake up and then go back to sleep. I need a way out of this funk. GG

Finally made it back to Maine. Spoke to Stacia on the way and also Mom for a bit. Made the trip pass faster. Stopped off for gas in Mass and paid $3.19 at the Pilot Gas station and also found one on the way to Bangor in Maine. Luck I paid the same price at this place. Otherwise it would have been $3.39 at other gas stations. I have not figured out how much it cost in gas for the trip to VA. Will check the checkbook later and check back with you all. I am sure you want to know how much it cost.

Spoke for a while wiht Steph for once that was nice. Usually she is sleeping or babysitting. Good to be connected to my sisters. Now to get to Susan sometime.....but she is usually working overtime all the time that I do call....wonder it james passes the message that I had called?
Well it was 62 degrees up here and 57 degrees in the house...COLD!!!! I put on the heat. It is expected to be about 30 degrees tonight. That is what has been the temps up here the past week.

Heat on it is so cold hard to believe it is so cold.
A stupid mouse kept me awake last night I don;t know where he was in the closet or ehind the bed but he was chouping away. I woke Shasta up to help me find it but we couldn't/
I heard from Sara *you can see her on the blog( and she just loves Germany I guess we all loved Germany I guess as there were happy times then Hard to find happy times now as I am so sick and confined to this house. Maybe things will get better when the weather turns warmer.
Sharon and Steve were over yesterday it was nice to see Sharon before she went back to Maine. They had a nice trip but worked helping Laura fix the house. I guess that is what families are for helping each other.
Shasta has been to the forest already today giving Skyler his walk and he is on muddy dog now as He loves to jump in the river when he is there. and then my bed when he gets home dirty but we love him so he can do no wrong in our eyes.
Got an invitation to Tom Lendy's wedding of course we can't go but we will be there in sprirt.
Hope that Sara writes again as soon as she gets home as for now she should be too busy enjoying herself. Too bad it was such a short time.

We are back in CT. I am visiting with Mom today. Tomarrow I go back to Maine. I'll be back down to CT aobut the second week of June for my physical.

Laura is doing some work with Aaron in the yard. However with the amount of hours that she has to work......she has little time for the around the house stuff.

Nice to read from Sara in Germany. Liked the little german words in the email....they make it special try some Wiener schnitchel and some chicken basted with beer. Oh the different types of beer are interesting to taste also.

Debra glad that all is well down in SC. what have you been doing for activites to make you happy. How is the job going.
How is Joe doing, we all think of you all and want the best for you all.

Mom is not looking to good up here with her blue feed and a face that looks like she is in lots of pain....she is! Part of the reason for the visit. It is hard to talk to her on the phone since her hands go numb from holding the phone.

The lilacs are out and they look beautiful. Just love the spring time with the different shades of green and all the spring flowers.
